Lajar Hexagon Modular Bulletin Board 8-Pack
The Lajar Hexagon Modular Bulletin Board 8-Pack offers a unique and stylish approach to organizing your space. With its hexagonal design and light gray color, it stands out as a decorative and functional piece. Compared to other bulletin boards in its category, it holds a solid position, thanks to its aesthetic appeal and ease of installation.
Each hexagon board measures 7.0″ x 6.1″ and is 0.6″ thick, ensuring that pins won't poke through. The boards are made from felt with an EVA backing, making them both sturdy and lightweight. The self-adhesive feature allows for easy installation on smooth surfaces, although some users have reported occasional issues with the adhesive not holding well.
In the box, you'll find eight hexagon felt boards, each with adhesive tabs for easy mounting. This setup is straightforward, requiring no additional tools, which is a plus for those looking for a hassle-free installation.
Customer feedback highlights the board's aesthetic appeal and pin-holding capacity as major positives. However, some users have experienced issues with the adhesive quality, leading to boards falling off the wall. Compared to other products in the category, the Lajar boards are appreciated for their decorative value but face competition in terms of adhesive reliability.
When compared to the U Brands 301 Cork Bulletin Board, the Lajar boards offer a more modern and decorative design, while the U Brands board is noted for its sturdiness and traditional cork surface. However, the U Brands board has faced criticism for thin cork and occasional damage on arrival.
The MaxGear Bulletin Board 6-Pack Set offers a similar modular approach with customizable layouts. While MaxGear is praised for its easy installation and sound dampening, it also faces adhesive issues similar to Lajar. However, MaxGear's panels are noted for their modern look and variety of colors.
For those seeking a decorative and customizable bulletin board, the Lajar Hexagon Modular Bulletin Board 8-Pack is a worthy consideration. It's ideal for users who prioritize aesthetics and easy installation over traditional cork surfaces. However, those concerned about adhesive reliability might want to explore other options.
