The Paragon Lock & Safe 83-DT5930 Gray Drop Safe is designed for both home and business use, offering a secure solution for cash drops and valuable asset storage. It features a digital keypad, manual override keys, and a sturdy steel construction. While it provides essential security features, it's important to consider how it stacks up against competitors in terms of customer satisfaction and specific functionalities.

This drop safe includes an LED keypad programmable with master and guest codes, along with manual override keys to prevent lockouts. The safe is constructed from 11-gauge solid powder-coated steel with inside hinges for enhanced security. After three incorrect code entries, an alarm sounds for 20 seconds, with a more extended alert after further failed attempts. These features are fairly standard compared to other drop safes, but the double door design could be a plus for some users.

The Paragon Lock & Safe 83-DT5930 comes with anchor bolts for mounting, which is pretty standard for safes of this type, ensuring it can be securely attached to the floor or wall.

Customer feedback indicates a mixed reception. A notable percentage of customers have positive experiences, but a considerable percentage also report negative experiences. Price-wise, opinions are divided, with a significant portion finding the price fair, while others consider it expensive. This contrasts with some competitors like the Flexzion Electronic Drop Safe, which, despite a similar rating, is often seen as a cheaper alternative.

Compared to the Durabox W500 Black Drop Slot Safe, the Paragon safe offers a digital keypad, while the Durabox relies on a key lock. The Durabox has a slightly higher overall rating. However, the Paragon safe has a larger capacity due to its double-decker design. The choice depends on whether you prioritize digital access or overall customer satisfaction.

When compared to the Eienhoshi Steel Black Drop Slot Safe, the Paragon offers a more robust build with its 11-gauge steel construction versus the Eienhoshi's 2mm steel. The Eienhoshi is more compact and may be suitable for smaller spaces. However, the Paragon's digital keypad and larger size might be preferable for businesses needing more secure and accessible storage.

The Paragon Lock & Safe 83-DT5930 Gray Drop Safe is suitable for business owners or homeowners who need a basic, secure way to store cash and other valuables. The digital keypad and override keys offer convenience, while the steel construction provides peace of mind. However, potential buyers should weigh the mixed customer feedback and consider alternatives if higher reliability is a must.
