The Serta Simply Clean Queen Mattress Pad is designed to serve as both a comfortable mattress pad and a waterproof protector. It aims to provide a plush, quilted layer for comfort while also offering protection against spills and stains. Overall, it seems like a practical option for those looking for basic comfort and mattress protection.

This mattress pad features Scotchgard Stain Release protection, which helps stains come out in the wash. It also has a Simple-Fit stretch skirt that fits mattresses up to 18″ deep. The hypoallergenic treatment is designed to inhibit the growth of odor-causing irritants, making it suitable for people with pets or those who perspire a lot. Compared to competitors, the dual functionality of comfort and waterproof protection is a notable feature.

Customer feedback indicates that the Serta Simply Clean Queen Mattress Pad is generally well-received. The positive reviews highlight its stain resistance and ease of cleaning. However, it is worth noting that a small percentage of reviews mention concerns about the price.

Compared to the Hyleory Quilted Cooling Pillow Top Mattress Pad, which is similarly priced, the Serta pad emphasizes stain release and waterproof capabilities, while the Hyleory focuses on cooling and breathability. The Hyleory pad also boasts a pillow top design for added comfort, which the Serta lacks. If stain protection is a priority, the Serta might be a better choice, but if cooling and extra cushioning are preferred, the Hyleory could be more suitable.

When compared to the SameBed Queen Extra Thick Mattress Pad, the Serta Simply Clean prioritizes waterproof functionality and stain release, whereas the SameBed pad focuses on providing extra thickness and relieving back pain. The SameBed also features a 400TC combed fiber surface for enhanced comfort. If you need a basic mattress pad with waterproof features, the Serta is a good choice, but if you are looking for something thicker and more focused on comfort, the SameBed might be a better fit.

We would recommend the Serta Simply Clean Queen Mattress Pad to individuals or families looking for a basic, easy-to-care-for mattress pad that offers both comfort and waterproof protection. It is especially suitable for those who want stain resistance and appreciate the convenience of machine washability.
